So I'm getting my first tailless whip scorpion and I was just wondering how often I'm allowed to handle it, if at all? I know the whole debate about handling T's is out there but I'm just not sure about the whip scorpion. I also wanted to know what to feed them, their about 4-5cm (1 (31/32) inches). I have a Dubia colony and a mealworm colony. Aswell as how big the enclosure should be and any specific things I need to add to the enclosure. I've also read that their nocturnal, so will it spend most of its time in hiding?

Any information would be greately appareciated!

Handling not required, and could pose threats to the welfare of Your Whip Spider.
Allow to Settle In with as little Human Intervention as possible. :)
Enjoy,

There’s no debate on handling Ts. There are those doing the wrong thing, and those respecting animals.

So you’re considering holding this type of animal with its incredibly long, very thin legs??? Yeah that’s not a recipe for bad ideas, no not at all :banghead:

I had one owner tell me they require a vertical cage furniture for molting.
