Is it still possible for it to be alive? Need help guys, I'm panicking right now...:(:(:(

I would say if it doesn't move when you give it a nudge on the rump or put it on it's back then I'm sorry to say I think it's dead. Sorry man :(

how cold was it when it arrived? maybe it's been effected by that? i know this may be stupid as i'm inexperienced but maybe try warming it up some how.

Are there any stories like this? Where the T doesn't move but is still alive? What could be the reason behind this? It was shipped yesterday and arrived today, and it's like this...

Could have been too hot, cold or too dry, and it croaked stiff.
I got a DOA H. lividum a few months back that was the same way, though I suspect it was too cold. It was stiff when it came out, in a "pouting" pose.
After getting it humid and in an ICU, it seemed to loosen up and adopt a "death curl" pose. After a few days, it started to reek, so I was sure she had passed on:(

As for recovery stories, I've read about a lot of seemingly dead Ts that sprang back from the brink of death after a stay in an ICU, so don't give up just yet!

did you have a DOA guarantee?
Right now I'm still trying to revive it. Is that container fine for an ICU? Do I need to change anything? There is no DOA policy to exchange it with another 1, just a discount for the next order. I'm not sure about the temp though.

damp paper towel on the bottom?
Secure cover?
Then it's fine.

Now, the hardest step. Put it somewhere dark, not too hot, not too cold and leave it alone. Check up on it in the morning. If there's any chance for it surviving, it's going to need the moisture as well as peace, quiet and time to recouperate.

If it is indeed dying... poking, blowing and fumbling with the lid will only help stress it out more, so fight the urge to "check up on it" too often.
Good luck!

Yeah, it's kinda damp, I hope she pulls through... I really don't want to lose her. Thanks

I asked somebody through text message and he said it might be molting, how long does the molting process take? I flipped it face down, should I flip it on it's back? It's in the ICU right now.

put it on its back. If it is molting leave it alone and dont move it around any more. At that size it should molt in a couple hours or so.

I dunno... I put my Adult female B. Smithi in a ICU to "revive it" and she passed :( They dont work all the time. They usually work better when the t isn't in a death curl, but is still becoming incredibly sluggish! But it still might work

My thoughts were it could be molting. It might take longer for it to molt since it could be stressed out from the shipping. Give it some time. Good luck!

It's been 9 hours, still nothing... I wasn't able to flip it on it's back because I just got online again because we have power shortage right now so we are having rotating brown outs. Should I still flip it on it's back? It's facing down right now.

But it's not in a death curl... :(
I've had more than one sling die without going into a death curl. It's been more than nine hours without movement now? I'm so sorry. I don't think your little sling made it through shipment. Contact the seller to see if they have a replacement policy.

Iif there still no movement then it's dead. I would contact the seller asap if they do have live arrival guarantee then usually it's only for 24 hours
