Where does one sign up for one of those subscriptions???? Or where can I just check out an issue or two of different ones?

Piggyback question... If you could have only one, which would be the favorite?

Thats a tuff question. I like both Arachnoculture and the BTS Journal. One thing I do like about Arachnoculture is the fact it covers other Arachnids. That fits me well since I am more into the scorpions than I am tarantulas. The BTS Journal is a really really good source of info on tarantulas (as is Arachnoculture). Good breeding reports etc.
If I was you, I would get both which is what I have done.

Does the BTS Journal ship regularly? I know none of the other hobby mags have ever shipped regularly and some are painfully slow or miss parts of volumes.

(Invertebrates-Magazine is starting the sixth volume/year and no issue has ever shipped late). The December 2006 issue of Invertebrates-Magazine is shipping now. Articles include really cool details on Mastigoproctus giganteus reproduction, Peruphasma schultei, Romalea microptera, photo safari in Mexico, sexing tarantulas using epiandrous glands and features Theraphosa blondi and Therea petiveriana.

Which is why I like Invertebrates Magazine. As they also cover articles on stuff like rearing beetles, mantids, moths etc.
I subscribed to I-M last year, and haven't felt the need to subscribe to another magazine. This one fills my reading interests. So, yeah,
I-M is my favorite.

Yeah I need to look into Invertebrates Magazine. I have only seen 1 copy so far and it looked good. Hmmmm sounds like another subscription is in order.

Oh btw, BTS ships quarterly :)

BTS membership subscription lasts 4 journals, and they do ship fairly regularly. It's well recommended :)

I also have most of the Arachnoculture journals and I'd agree that they're excellent. I bought them when Michael Jacobi was over here in the UK at the last BTS show. I aim to subscribe when I finally manage to get around to it!
