Nice shots!
Is it just the pics, or is there something wrong with the right side of that A. avicularia's abdomen? Is she ok?

I got that one not too long ago from a friend of a friend who kept the Avic in a 20gallon gravel subbed, dry, terrestrial setup. I don't know what happened during that time but there is a patch of setae missing on the right side of the opisthosoma. The spider is doing fine, eating and drinking (alot!) and dosn't seem to be bothered by it. Next molt should put everything back to normal since theres no lumping or wrinkling ;) I'll never say no to a free spider no matter what condition haha!

Just posting some new pics of a newcomer. Dolomedes tenebrosa, WC in Quebec, Canada. Biggest species of spider that is found up here. Beautiful female specimen:

P.irminia decided to come out and strike a pose.

Freshly molted AF P. regalis

Nice collection! My own Siamese cats caused me to get out of arachnids a few decades ago, right as I was getting my feet good and wet. Glad the OBT seems to be on the mend! :)

Yes they are! I know, I was scared that would be the end too, but they have too much talent to put it to waste. First time I saw them was in 2002 and I've been following them religiously ever since. And since this is my picture thread, heres one for you ;)

And just to keep the thread on topic, P. irminia

Nice pics, both of the spiders and you, lol. Our P. irminias are going to make some attractive spiderlings if they produce a sac. Since I saw your female before I shipped her, I know they're a good size match. I've got a big fluffy man and you've got a saucy jet black lady.

I'm glad to see your P.murinus is doing better after such a horrifying attack the legs are looking great! I can't imagine coming into the room to see such a massacre, you are very brave!

Thanks. Yeah the P. murinus had me working hard for a couple of days but she's safe and sound. The last T room incident was a hard one to take. But it's all good now I'm over it ;)

Thanks Levi! I got three ladies on the wait right now... Can't wait to see what the little man can do ;P

Hey man! Nice collection you got going there. Really diggin the C lamanai. There's not many of those in our country, I feel privileged to have one. Definitely under rated!

Effictively, I was really glad to have one, and it was one of my favorite sp's in the collection. Unfortunately, I had a T room incident around a month ago in which 10 specimens died, including the C. lamanai. Now I know I won't be seeing one pass by anytime soon, but I sure am keeping my eyes open!
