Alright, it's time i guess to post pics of my collection. I've been into inverts for a while now (around 15yrs) but i'm relatively new to internet and forums. Now that I sorta got ahold of the way it works, i'll be uploading pics and updates everytime possible.

I'll start this off with some slings of mine. Throughout time I will post update pics when they change. (I'm sorry in advance for the quality of the pictures as I am a musician and not a photographer ;) )

So here we go: A.versicolor sling purchased from TC

A.avicularia sling from TC

I have a couple of these little guys so I can't wait for them to big biggies :)

Next up, P.regalis sling from TC

P.cambridgei sling from TC

This little guy molted a week ago so I rehoused him into a bigger vial but I'm waiting to get some other good pictures

P.pulcher sling from TC

Funny fact: this one got sweeped up, because he had escaped, by Martin's mom when I went to TC. The little guy was not going through a good time and I took on the task of getting him to survive. So far, so good :)

H.maculata sling from TC

Got a pair of these. I'm now hoping for one of each gender. They have molted and changed alot since but as they are really hard to photograph, the updated pics are gonna have to wait...

C.cyaneopubescens sling from TC

This one turned out to be a male. Here are other pics at different stages

This concludes slings for now. Next post with the biggies :)

Now the older ones

I get new slings every now and then so I'll post pics of ll the new ones that will be added to my collection.

Here are my older ones. And what better than to start it with the biggest one of them all :)

The true MF T.blondi purchased as a sling 7 years ago from a local petstore

MF L.parahybana

She took a stab at the ruler so that's the reason it's sideways. I've got a nasty tempered LP! Here's a better size pic with a canadian 10$ bill

ImmM P.murinus

Unfortunately, my cat had found a way into my T room while I was there without me noticing. Later on, I heard a noise coming from the room. I walked in to find a toppled over critter keeper. It was completely upside down. Since I had given both options to my T in the setup (both arboreal and terrestrial) and he had chosen to settle up at the top of the enclosure, this became a disaster as the T ended up crushed underneath the substrate. Results were legs I and III already torn off, leg II partially torn off and leg IV just bleeding.

After 10 minutes in the ICU, leg II had fell off. I tried to stop the bleeding of leg IV with no success. (the fluid was coming out underneath the knee joint. Can be clearly seen in the above pic) I proceeded to amputating the leg.

Now I have a four legged P.murinus. I'll post pics of the regeneration after each molt.

MF C.fasciatum

MF B.smithi

MF C.lamanai

This concludes T pics so far. I'll finish off this first post with some "molting in really tight places"

B.smithi

T.blondi

All pictures with bad resolution were taken with my Iphone and i'm sorry for that. I don't often charge my camera's battery ;)

Very nice collection! Your poor OBT, though. :( This is one of my greatest fears, since I have three cats...they've already knocked over two tanks, though the inhabitants were miraculously unharmed. Since then, I've taken extra precautions to make sure everything is secure.

Anyhow, I look forward to seeing the regeneration progress!

Usually I always just close the door behind me but I have forgotton and siamese cats are really tricky. They'll fly in without a sound and hide till you leave the room! Well I always double check now...

And seem's like P.murinus has went into pre-molt as he is refusing food so I guess the first stage of regeneration will be posted soon ;)

nice man i like em
Thx alot!

Thanks! For the OBT, so far so good... What scares me the most is if the next molt become's penultimate or the ultimate molt. In that case, I don't think he'll be able to get any jobs done:(

Thanks Kraine:)

I tried to get a better pic of my A.versi tonight but it completly webbed up everything around itself. The suspected pre-molt should become a molt soon ;) Can't wait to get those new pics!

Update on P.murinus

Well what a surprise! I don't know how I missed it the first time, but he just became a she:cool: Now this means I have no more worries about regenerating before maturity...

So after her :)o) first molt since the accident, 2 out of 4 legs have partially regenerated. A third extremely handicapped leg can be seen too. At this rate, 3 more molts and she'll be perfect again :)

And finally some "better but not good" pictures of H.maculata. It grew from 1" to 1.85" in it's last molt. It's now slowly starting to show adult coloration:)

My freshly molted A.versicolor 1.75" sling

My heavy premolt C.cyaneopubescens

Also i'm getting a MM L.parahybana from jon3800 this week so i'll post pictures of the pairing of those two monsters soon :)

What a score!!:)

I just got back from Neophyte's place and I can't be happier with my new additions. I'm gonna try to get back for more if the wallet allows me cause she has some really neat T's:)

Here's what I just added to my collection:

Poecilotheria Ornata unsexed juvi (I rehoused it while it was already stressed from the ride home)

P.cambrigei female

G.rosea RCF female (yes I finally have a rosy!)

Also got a juvi P.pulcher which I didn't manage to get a good picture of yet. I'm trying to!

Very nice man:D
Did you pick up any at the get together. It's very tempting when they are right there:D
Keep the pics coming.

Beautiful rosie! I finally got my first one too recently. A RCF sling, mind you.

After watching Robc's video of his ornata bite, I'd never be tempted to buy one , but I do really like the bright green highlights on the legs. They remind me of green highlighter. :) Yours is quite nice looking.

Congrats on the pickups.

Thanks alot!
I only picked up 2 LP sling's at the get together (my daughter's first T:D) and since I had the kids with me + the fact that I live 20mins away from TC, I didn't grab anything else yet... But as you say, it's impossible to not be tempted on spot and even as used to going there as I am, I always get that itch to buy more every time;)

Thanks Cyan:)
Neophyte kicked in the rosea for free since I didn't have one and I was interested in it. Of course she's not a sling but she's still a juvi (around 3") ha!{D

And well I feel really confterable around pokies so I don't mind that the ornata took a run around my kitchen after I took the pics :p But they are truly beautiful spiders and glad to finally add one to my collection :) Yes they do pack a nasty bite, but RobC just got unlucky...

very nice looking GBB!
Thanks! He's a penultimate male now. Can't wait to pair him up!!

*On a side note, I have a picture thread for showing what i'm passionate of:) I am no photographer and take my pics with a 100$ olympus camera. Maybe one day i'll invest in some photography equipment instead of more spiders {D
