I just bought my A seemani not too long ago and to tell you all the truth I really thought I was doing something wrong.

She would not eat and she started to look a little thin, She would never come out of her burrow.

I didn't realise that she was in premolt! I got up this morning and went to check on her and she was on her back with her old exoskeleton right there next to her.

What a cool surprise!

Mine just molted too!

Thats the second aphonopelma species of tarantula to molt this week for me... the henzti showed the usual signs but the seemani was eating right up until the night before and didnt look at all like a tarantula about to molt.

I wish my A Seemani would molt. If she would then i would begin to look for a male to breed with her but I am still waiting on her molt because I dont want a successful breeding to go to waste.
