I got home from work last night and found this in my rosea's enclosure . She had been gulping down water and laying down webbing all over the tank but I just thought she was getting ready to molt . There is quite bit of substrate on the sack but there is no doubt that it is a sack . Considering her size it looks to be pretty big .

The funny thing is that I just got her a few weeks ago . She is still working on it but here is a slightly better pic .

Same thing happened with my rosea, had her for about a year before she started making a bowl. Unfortunately she chose a very bad spot to start so the eggsac didn't make it :( but good luck!

When that time comes I don't plan to charge very much for them . I probably try and some kind of trade with a retailer .
Who cares?
Bonus points for bringing more captive bred G.rosea into the hobby!
Hopefully all goes well

edit: sorry.. meant to quote the post right above mine

May not be captive bred, but captive born.
Congrats on the sac, but don't count your spiderlings until they're hatched. :)

I just hope that they inherit the mother's color cool . She is suppose to be an RCF , but she has the nicest deep orange hue . I don't want to try and get a pic right now , but when I remove the sack I'll snap a photo .

Eggs with legs ! I found only one dud in the sack . It's attached to another egg that appears to be good so I'll leave it for now .

No I shot the pic with my phone and the color of the nylons that I used don't seem to show up . It does look like they are floating but don't worry they are safely suspended about an inch above the water .

lol. I figured it was something like that...a nude/invisible style stocking. Might be able to use that trick for some fun photo illusions....
