Hey guys it has been a while since my last post but I am back again with more super worm questions! I am just wondering if anyone knows how long a super worm will live in the larva state if I never put it in the correct situation to pupate into a beatle. I have had my worms about 2 or 3 months now and I have recently become curious about this. I would hate for them to all just start dying out.

I echo @The Grym Reaper, I have kept them for months in their containers after purchase, and I buy containers of 50. I have never found one dead, that is, of un-tarantula causes.

I last bought superworms about five months ago and still have some from that batch alive. I would probably have them all alive but they have been fed off to T's and I did turn a majority of them into beetles to start them breeding.

They last for so long, that I forgot about a tub I bought and then opened the drawer and they were all still alive, several months later.

If the superworm never pupates, then the lifespan is said to be 6-12 months. If it becomes a beetle, it can live for 3-15 years.
