yep, lol, from all the ilegal crap peeps do in US...along with non-native millipedes, mantids, and a whole bunch of other insects. A quick search of the myriapod forum will yield more details.

the USDA only fairly recently really started enforcing restrictions that were already on the books. A lot of people still don't seem to realize that this IS happening or just have a blase' (that's an accent, not an apostrophe) attitude about it and that isn't going to help keep these things available.
