I was pondering if I wanted to share this here or not because it'll pretty much reveal my identity but what the heck.

I've successfully bred Cotztetlana sp. morelos.
Directly from Dr. Jorge Mendoza's export from Mexico. This was my first time acquiring a species from this genus and my first attempt at breeding them.

This is the first ever Cotztetlana species successfully bred in Canada and the first time that this undescribed species has been bred outside out its origin country - Mexico

I don't know who you are by providing that info. NICE WORK.

Are you referring to Dr. Jorge Menoza de Mexico?

How big is the Cotztetlana species in your photo? I have what was called Cotztetlana sp. "Puebla" and I assume it is an adult female because it hasn't molted in a couple of years, but it has only a 2 inch leg span maximum. That would be about half the size of the known species described by Dr. Mendoza. I'm just wondering if that is a typical size for adult females of other species out there floating around in the international pet trade.

My female is about 3 inches or so. But she actually just molted last night and seems like she is still gaining size.
