Hey guys is it ok to use Beach sand for my hh. Scorpions? Where i live, i am surronded by beaches so instead of buying, i can just get sand off from the beach. So is it ok?

Yes but u need to heat up the sand in microwave or oven and cook it to kill off anything funky

I wouldn’t do it, there might be some salt residue left which could be potentially harmful for the scorpion.

Too much salt in beach sand, not good.
Interesting.... as bad as it sounds I. Didnt even consider it.... housed a few Androctonus and parabuthus on some black sand from San Diego lol after I nuked it for almost a year issue free

Maybe depends on species? Their are many forms of various scorpion species near beaches
