I'm sorry to hear that.

I hope this doesn't discourage you from scorps -- a lot of WC can be old without any outward signs and you never know how long they've got left. Maybe you can find a breeder somewhere in the UK with baby emps?

it won't discorage me but when emp sheds do they still move just wanna be sure it is dead

Yes, they still move.

If it had shed you'd know. After molting, scorps are noticeably bigger and lighter in color until the exo hardens. There would also be an old molt laying around. Judging from the pictures you sent, yours was an adult.
