Stopping the spread of nematodes.

Recently got a curly haired t on the 28th of last month, they were confirmed with nematodes so I returned them as soon as it was confirmed (waited a while to make sure the white stuff wasn't chewed food before confirming) I'm throwing out their whole habitat, their hide and water bowl literally everything. Anything else I can do to make sure they won't spread to my other ts? The curly was kept away from everyone from the start. Any advice is welcome and please don't attack me I'm doing my best.

I added springtails to all my enclosures today except for the ones where they wouldn't survive in due to dryness like my gbb enclosure.

Nematodes will not spread through the air; they'll spread on infected surfaces and substrate.

So long as you haven't put anything from one enclosure into another, you haven't transferred the pathogens.

If any of the other animals start showing signs of infection, then isolate them and observe.

If you're worried about things like tongs or catch cups, I'd just sanitize them in a 5% bleach solution (1 cup bleach per gallon of water).

I would sterilize any tongs or husbandry equipment used in the infected enclosure. 10% bleach solution just to make sure.

I threw out all of their husbandry equipment including the enclosure. I'm going to toss the tongs too I have another pair and I'm scared to get the solution wrong lol

Yeah I thought I was doing a good thing by getting him. It was from petco and they needed help caring for him. I brought him back and said I can't risk him killing my collection. They said there going to send him to the vet to be taken care of and asked if I wanted him back after and I'm like "there isn't going to be an after".

Despite the temptation to rescue a neglected creature to give it a new home -

Don't - the shop will only replace it with another.

I know I know I get it. I just needed a curly hair for my collection anyways and didn't want to raise a sling. I have no really trust worthy t stores near me either
