Fun! I'm usually not much for Katydids but those are neat. Are these fairly common in Florida?

Based on the number of photos on bugguide and how prolific most katydids are, I would guess they are fairly common.

I would be happy to leave a stool sample on your doorstep after that post, though... Might even light it on fire, warm you up during those cold January nights in Washington.

Exactly why I was telling *you* why not to expect a response from him, I know him elsewhere on the internet as well and figured it would keep you from questioning why I was answering.
