How do you separate the slings from their mother?

I disassembled her enclosure slowly till I could coax her into a vial. Then I used a small soft paintbrush and a plastic spoon to retrieve the 2i slings from the webbing one or two at a time. I would much rather take the sac than doing it this way.

It was a surprise in that it had hatched. I knew she had made one and usually at 25 days its EWLS or close to 1st instar. I haven't seen 1st instar already emerged from the sac in this species till now.

Golds are my favorite I have raised the olives but never keep any.

Very excited about this sac. After two phantom sacs, a wet molt, and a MM eaten while on loan I finally got one of my 4 female Avicularia purpurea to drop a sac. Waiting to pull this one wont be easy.

Pulled my H. villosella communal down 2 days ago when I noticed a large member holding a little white ball. 17 went in 9 came out after a bit over a year. At least one is confirmed female 1.1.9 4 suspect female 3 suspect male via ventral inspection.
