Hey! I have what I think is 3.1.0 of these ones but cant find any good information about how to keep and breed them. Mine just lie on top of the substrate most of the time and dont seem to burry much at all. I use this substrate and give them fruit/veggies and fish food in a bowl. I'm concerned about them not digging as I've read that millipedes stay underground alot.. :S

Substrate: 6” to 8” of damp coconut coir bedding with a couple of large handfuls of aspen bedding and 3-4 large handfuls of hardwood tree leaf litter (composted) mixed into it. The aspen will break down over time, and provide some decomposing wood they need in their diet. Shove some decomposing hardwood pieces (old rotten logs) into the substrate. Most of our babies are found in, under or around these logs. Put 2” to 3” of old shredded decomposing oak leaves and decomposing oak wood on top of the substrate.
This is what we use for AGBs and rainbow millipedes.
