I was offered an L3 spiny flower mantis (Pseudocreobotra wahlbergii), but I'm not 100% on their setup. I'm guessing arboreal with fake plants, twigs, cork bark, etc? Also, how large is an L3 gonna be?

L3 will be small. Maybe juvenile Phidippus regius size but look more fragile.

Don't go daft on decor. You want some but not so much that it could interfere with moulting.

Just go with a 16-32 oz contaienr and you’re good all the way through until it becomes an adult. Simple is best with mantids. Be careful to provide a lot of ventilation as this species is very prone to mold and bacterial infections.
