Rehoused Rigel (1.0 E. cyanognathus) today. He was not happy about being dug out of his burrow and being moved from a sling vial into a big boy enclosure! One of the only times I've actually been able to get a decent look at him outside of his burrow. Beautiful spider...his coloration reminds me of blown glass Christmas ornaments.
Verdugo (1.0 L. klugi) is almost a year mature, but still going strong. He's slowing down, not making sperm webs much anymore, and doesn't eat very often. He's a little old man now, and it's going to be hard when he passes. I think I've still got a decent amount of time left with him, though.
I found Primrose (G. rosea RCF) at the latest expo. I wasn't necessarily planning on picking up another rose hair, but she was so cute and fluffy that I immediately knew I couldn't pass her up!
A very small N. tripepii sling that I was able to molt sex as female using a microscope. Her name is Razzmatazz and even though she's tiny, I can already see some fluff starting to appear!
Meet Eileen (0.1 B. boehmei). She came to me very obese, so no food until after her next molt. She's very skittish and frequently kicks hairs, but always sits out in the open and loves to explore at night.
Tigerlily (0.1 P. vittata) finally held still long enough for me to get a photo. It's a little blurry, but you can still see how gorgeous she is. Definitely one of my most food motivated and active tarantulas. She's almost always out prowling around every night.
