but i removed them all and found more before i feed again

what should i use for a hide for a 1.25 inch sling

also i feed her one crick at a time till she ignored it
was about ten total (1/4-1/2 inch cricks) ....she wont over eat will she ?

also i wash my hands with anti bacteria soap before handling her i'm awesuming this is a good thing but just want to make sure :)

Yeah they leave little white poops around, there is some debate as to the over feeding, general view I think is they wont burst but power feeding can contribute to faster growth which can = shorter life span. But at that size I wouldn't worry too much about that.
I don't handle mine so I don't know about the soap sorry.

Once my slings get big enough for a hide I use a bottle cap (turned on its side and buried halfway in the substrate). When they get bigger it doubles as a water dish. :D

Spiders won't over eat. They won't burst... nothin. Feed a small sling about 2 pinheads at a time (I do about 6 at a time, but I do a different type of feeding). And yes, that is spider crap. Some will project it too. My P. irminia will launch those things clear across the room, so will my A. versicolor - watch your eyes! Ha!

Spider poop...to me it's alot cleaner than other animal's poop. Yes it can be little white hardened balls, dried up white goo or it can look something like "eggs". It is pretty easy to clean...just pick it out with a tweezer...unless its an avic then you kind of scrape it off the sides of the tank. Do clean it though.

As for feeding...I wouldn't give more than two tiny crix at a time each day for now. Try searching "power feeding".

As for a hide...The T is still pretty small, and should be in a pretty small container until it reaches 1.5 inches...another molt or two would be my guess. I wouldn't use a hide at all for now, but when it is a bit bigger a small piece of cork ot tiny lower pot ( the 50 cent kind from walmart or the like) work well.

Water nedds can be met by misting the sides of the container weekly. If the container is too large the sling may have problems finding water. This just my opinion of course...read up and then you can decide. Good luck!!!

about the poop deal, i have both a B. emilia and a G. aureostriata. i've read they leave white balls of crap. i've only seen that once in my B. emilia's setup and none in my Chaco's setup. do they go lengths of time w/o pooping or is it something i should be worried about? could they be constipated? i've been searching wanting to clean the setups and keeping it clean of poop and dead cricket parts, but have had to do no cleaning. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yay for G. aureostriatas. I love mine to bits :D

I'm not sure about the soap thing. I'm inclined to say don't bother. I'd guess your T can handle whatever is on your hands, and soap may just be introducing chemicals. Unless it's organic soap of course. Maybe just wash your hands with water?

I've heard if you 'power feed' you can make your T grow quicker and it might not live as long, but at the size yours is I think you're okay. I've heard G. aureos eat a lot and grow fast when they're small. Even mine is a pig compared to my B. smithi

and guitarlust - I haven't noticed any poop from my G. aureo either. And it's really hard to find the cricket remains cos she seems to eat a lot more of it than my B. smithi, and then covers the leftovers in dirt to hide them. I'm sure I've just been removing little chunks of substrate instead of crix. Bet my T is laughing at me.
