1) Please help me identify the spider in the pictures. I suspected it was a tan jumping spider (thought it was male, but now there are eggs, so...)
2) Any recommendations or information resources about egg sac care & handling
This is a wild caught spider from the northern virginia area. This is a catch and release situation that became complicated, and I desperately need some help. The plan was to host the little guy until the first day of spring or when the weather stayed above freezing temperatures for a week, whichever came first. I came to this forum and to reddit to read about jumping spider care instructions. I've been caring for this spider for over 4 weeks now and everything has been fine and dandy.
I left home for an hour this morning and came back to what I believe are eggs. This is beyond what I was prepared for, to say the least.
