Cool! :clap: :clap: :clap: Although I'm not sure on the species because the artist rendering and the spider in the picture show several marking differences (although that could be anything); such as the paired spots on the anterior of the abdomen in the drawing that are absent in the picture, and the continuous as opposed to broken markings on the cephlathorax. I think Neartic Spider Database shows 5 Novalena sp. that could be native to the area.

May be, but hitherto, only Novalena intermedia has been documented in BC.
