i never had seen this species around here before until i saw one a few months ago, i really noticed it because the abdomen had chevron markings exactly like haplopelma. was about 1.5 inches in size.
i just found this guy yesterday (second i've seen) - only about 1 inch, it's abdomen markings are a little different, it is a shiny redish-brown with a cephalothorax that is shaped like a wolf spider. just took down a cricket the same size as it.
any one know what these are?
