be very careful with galleries like this. These stand or fall by the person who ID-ed the specimen before making the picture....... I allready see some problems in the ones posted there.
Please elaborate? Those two people keeping that gallery up, are actually knowledgable and respected breeders over here - I'd like to know those "some" you already saw are wrong (assuming that's the case)?
In general, I'd agree to you regarding galleries, though.

Regarding stickies: they must be produced internally, meaning derived from a thread here. We don't sticky the information if it's produced elsewhere in with respect to copyright protection;)

I would personally love to see some industrious members begin carefully cataloguing quality photos of spermathecae...lots of photo skills here and I think everyone would benefit from a little more attention to the physical details, anyway.

C. fasciatum and B. angustum stand out.
Thanks for the info, I'll check it out and contact them about it.

EDIT:
At least I, personally, can only find -this- one from Bastian Rast that looks the same, just an older specimen and better angle? As for the B. angustum, I'd have to agree. However - since I'm not entirely sure of this - do spermathecae change a little over time with each molt until adult? Because one thing I'm aware of is that those pictures are from spider they own themself and it could be just a young specimen if that's true.

Noted. Just thought it could be added to one of the other stickies else, as it was done with the "T escaping video" ;)

I think this Bastian Rast made the same mistake.
Now, that's quite interesting...I'm assuming you're referring to the fact that most C. fasciatum are not really C. fasciatum in the hobby? Chad pointed that out at one time, I remember that...

For the record, since I assume you haven't heard of him: Bastian Rast is member of the "DEARGE" which is the German Arachnologic Society, and has travelled to many habitats to check the T's out there for himself, like you did . He does a lot of things like prensentations on fairs, being chariman of one of the Swiss Arachnologic Societies and is a well-known expert in the hobby over here. While I know that everyone can make mistakes (G. Schmidt's books show that quite well :sarcasm:) I have to say that especially Bastian does his research thoroughly and I'm a little surprised.

Ooh, please ellaborate on this. What is C. fasciatum in the hobby? Has this been cleared up? More than two spiders or just a missed ID on the line we have?
