I have only had my t blondi for about 2 months now, and she had a bald spot when I got her, and now she has a dark spot and is sorta burrowing into the corner of the cage. Is this the way they act when they are about to molt? She looks so still, I almost want to disturb her! But I won't, since I sorta suspect a molt coming on. So is this normal?

As long as her legs arn't curled up loosly under her and she " looks" dead I wouldn't be too concerned. As long as she looks healthy.

T's have a way of worrying us keepers to death.
fasting for long lengths of time, being phyco,, being too still or too active.
And Molts are a nail chewing time.

Mist her cage, in cas of molt the humidity will help her.
And let her be.
If she flops over on her back Thats normal.

And Hopefuly she will do it at a time you get to watch.

If the bald spot has turned black then she is in pre-molt. It can take weeks before it happens, so keep an eye on any live prey you put in with your T. blondi.

It's not black yet, but its dark brown, so getting there. When I got her, her butt was tannish in color, so I know there's a definite change. I'm thinking, because she was so hesitant to eat the last few crickets, I may not feed her for a bit until she does molt, I'm not always here to remove the prey and I don't want to risk hurting her.
