Very cool tanks man. Can I ask how they stay shut? I don't see no latch at the top.

I use tank clips. Got them from the petsmart on glenstone. They don't look the best though...

Awesome smithi pics. But perhaps I am just biased because its one of my most wanted Ts. My first T i ever bought was a DOA smithi... :(

Haha oh well.

yeah she was and is still my most expensive T. i paid 100 bucks for her a little over a year ago at pet warehouse...i felt bad for her so i bought her. then a week later i went back only to find a immature male so i bought him for 95 bucks. i now have a breeding pair. and learned to not "rescue" any Ts in the process...also when are you going to be back in town?

thanks. als teal, you should get one for sure! but be warned once they get around 2 or 3 inches they become extremely skittish, mine isnt really a hair kicker, but she is quite fast and skittish. BrianS has a huge female(5 inches) which i didnt know they even got that big but she is a mean mean girl. but they are a gorgeous little T. though im still confused whether there C. fasciatum or D. pentalore or if they finally decided they were seperate sp/genus..

I've never heard D. pentalore! I'll have to look it up and see what's going on lol

Ooh I am not much a fan of ones that can kick hair lol (I can't remember if that is OW or NW) But they are so pretty, I might just have to make an exception! Skittish is fine.. I have OBTs remember? :D

How did you know the sex? Pet warehouse told me all their Ts were unsexed?

How trustworthy do you think petland is in their sexing? supposedly they only sell females. My first live T was a "metallic pinktoe" from petland. Pretty sure its an Avic avic...

Probably around the 10th I will be back, not sure. I have an MCAT prep course at MSU starting up the 17th.

The smithi's i saw at petwarehouse were sold for like $65.
