Here's one of my two turtles, he's somewhere between 15-20 years old, so he's been around my whole life. Some of his dinner is floating around in the background:

One of my snake Kiddo, who i named after Uma Thurman in Kill Bill:

Two of Arabis my Leopard gecko, who has serious bugeye and is developing a cataract in her old age. She's a sweet gecko, but since she's blind on one side, she'll try and eat anything that approaches from her blind side, including fingers:

Several of my elusive and aptly named crocodile skink, Shyguy:

And last but not least, the family pet Max sitting in a dumb position:

and him as a kitten:

Hope you liked the pics!

Cool collection, how big is your slider, does it still eat any insects at that age?

We actually got the cat from the humane society, so we'll never really know what breed he is, but we've always been pretty sure there's some sort of blue in him ^_^.

The slider's shell length is ~8 inches, so he's maybe a foot stretched out, and I don't think he's really gonna get any bigger. His sister, who my brother owns, is at least 3 inches longer and about double his mass. He'll eat literally anything though, veggies, fruit, turtle sticks, crickets, mealworms, guppies, goldfish... I've yet to find something he won't eat. 90% of his diet is veggies though, everything else comes as a treat.

edit: he also tried to eat his sister's face once, which is why they now live separately.

Everyone's eyes always bug out when they see the skink :D. I posted some advice on taking care of them a while ago, if anyone is interested I can write up a proper care sheet. Keep in mind though that I've had him since last September and those are most of the good pictures I've ever gotten of him. They're REALLY shy. For some info on them try tribolonotus.com (not my website). His care section is good, there are just a few things I feel it would be nice to include in addition to his... like how to feed an animal that gets stressed out by crickets jumping around, minimizing fungus gnats, etc.

A care sheet would be cool, after I saw them I did some looking around for availability and could possibly get some. Never had lizards before, but got loads of scorpions. These guys are so cute, do they stay quite small, I wouldn't want anything too big as all my scorps take up a lot of room in their 100gal tanks, got a couple of old 20gal tanks lying empty though.

Thanks for the reply

Thanks for the positive feedback guys and girls :D. I'm Now planning to type up a proper caresheet for crocodile skinks, which will unfortunately be based only on my experience with Shyguy, so I won't be able to offer any advice RE: breeding, caring for neonates. Other then that though, I think I should be able to go into a fair amount of detail, as well as include pictures and such clarify things as I talk about them. Unfortunately, I'm moving tomorrow morning to go to school, and the internet isn't getting hooked up til next week, so it'll be a little while before I can post anything.

also, @ blacktara: for some reason Max and Kiddo couldn't be less interested in each other :p. I've had Max sitting in my lap purring while Kiddo is curled up around my neck half asleep before and they just don't seem to notice each other. Max desperately wants to eat Arabis though.

oh yeah, and a 20 gallon tank is perfect for a croc skink. They get to be about the same size as a leopard gecko but I find they're more active, and they need a large water dish and plenty of places to hide both in the water and out, so a 10 gallon tank ends up being way too cramped.

...how many scorps fit in a 100 gallon tank?? O_O
