you don't necessarily need to use soap at all - if it's the same enclosure, you can just rinse it. If you need to use soap, dish soap leaves less residue than most other soaps, just make sure you rinse very thoroughly.
Okay cool. Thank you ☺. I am super mew to invertebrates. I have rehabbed birds and rodents. Have much experience with goats, dogs, cats, and many other mammals. Just getting into invertebrates. Always found them fascinating but never had an opportunity to keep them until now. So any and all advice is appreciated. Love this forum. It's been so helpful so far. Very grateful for it.

Appreciate everyone 😊☺😊😊.

Refusing food is normal. It can mean an impending moult, or it can mean that conditions are too dry, or it can mean that they're just not hungry. A well-fed scorpion can go many many months without food.
Right now in the wild it's hibernation time.

If your tap water is safe for you to drink, then broadly speaking it should be fine. Some people choose to use bottled spring water (even though this often also comes from taps, lol) or distilled water because they don't trust their local water source. If you know your water is heavily chlorinated you might choose to add a dechlorinator (available at aquarium supply places). However, most people just use tap water. Use your best judgement about the water in your region.

Okay cool. Moistening and putting new reptisoil in now with no bark.

Got him all set up now. All reptisoil substrate. Premoistened it but not too much like you said. Damp throughout. Did a heavy mist before i put him back in.
