Hmm, its fur is off, along with its head, tail, feet, and hands, and it has been gutted. Whats left to eat? The meat by its upper arms and legs and maybe a cut there by its lower back?

It sounds like you got a skinny one
On a heavier rat there should be some meat on the body

If you're gonna do it, do it all the way

The heck with store bought Petco rats - them's for wimps

REAL men go catch real sewer rat, and eat it raw

Of course, REAL men are pretty dumb, but that's besides the point

I would probably try squirrel, maybe, but I don't think I would try rat. Squirrels just seem like a cleaner animal to eat lol.

lol..no thanks..i dont eat flea ridden snake food.

i will stick to my T-bones{D , thanks.
Personally I think cows are a lot more disgusting than rats. They smell, they get poop all over themselves . . . they're just gross animals to me. but still tasty

In a more rural setting rats are plenty clean. More "wild" specimens are likely to be eating grains and plant matter instead of scrounging around in dumpsters (much like cockroaches). I've heard that as clean as squirrels may appear, city squirrel should be avoided as a food source for the same reason city rats should. You never know what they've gotten their little paws into.
