Absolutely stunning!

I was working on a breeding project to push towards a more stable blue phase in current Australian T's but this would pretty much make the work obsolete.

Makes total sense, considering the shear number of asian species with more ornate colours.. surely there is a good chance of something similar waiting to be discovered in the tropics.

Hey Steve do you know if this species holds onto it blue colouring after molt indefinitely?

Aside from the discovering (Which is always a good thing), this Theraphosidae, judging from the pic, doesn't trigger me at all.
To me seems just a new H. lividum (or C. lividus, or whatever the current scientific name may be).

While I'd love a 0.1 Selenotypus Champagne robustus, By Jove! :pompous:

Very cool looking spider.

Gives off Chilobrachys sp. dyscolus blue vibes. Quick question Steve, do these retain the blue throughout their molt cycles?

Wow ! That's pretty ! I'm pretty sure if Steve manages to get these beauties out here, they'll have a hefty price tag.
