What a great looking tarantula!!! And some nice looking shots of it. I wish I would have done some of these timeline photos.

Yeah thanks, Getting them as juvies or slings really allows you to see all the changes in color and the growth rates of the different species. Check the "who molted thread" to see my M.Balfouri that is just starting to get the adult colors.

P. Metallica #2(female)recently molted. The behavioral changes that occur with each molt are wild. You would think this a completely different animal than she was last week. Yet if you went back to the molt before that the behavior was quite similar to now.

Male P. Ultramarinus molted. Looks stunning. Camera really doesnt capture the colors on either of my Ultras very well. The one that picked up the most contrast with the orange and purples was the one that turned out blurry. Im extremely pleased with this male. He is around 4 1/2" now and the female is already close to 5" and should molt soon. So this male will be maturing after the female which is awesome.

P. everetti female #2. She recently molted must be getting close to 4 inches by now. Pictures don't do her justice.

I.Mira Female, wet molt on 12/9/15 spent 2-3 months having to be fed prekilled meals and just sorta sliding around. Back legs didnt really work. The last month or so she she stopped eating and starting burrowing. Molted on 3/9/16 and is back to normal. Awesome species.

0.0.1 Chilobrachys sp. Black Satan, First picture since i got it in october. I had it in a 2" by 4" container when i got it, molted once and ate regularly. Made the mistake of rehousing to a bigger container with 5" of substrate and it literally disappeared. Four months of waiting and nothing. Finally dug it up and found that it hadn't molted and was at the bottom of the 5 inches in the wettest part of the container. T room is approx. 80% humidity outside of the cages. I moved it to a small vile again and it started eating everyday and soon molted. Waited awhile and then snapped this pic after the rehouse today to larger container again. We'll if he disappears again. Pretty cool species.
