We all know theraphosa species are the biggest tarantulas. But what about the smallest one? What is the smallest tarantula kept in captivity?
A.Paloma is smaller. At least my female Paloma’s are smaller than my female seladonia. But that’s anecdotal.Pretty sure it's T. seladonia:

Edited to add: not sure if Aphonopelma paloma really counts as being in the hobby however…I don’t believe anyone has successfully bred them? I think they are all wild caught.

Had it for 2.7 years and it's only 1 1/4 inches dls.
