If it was threatposing, you have one very feisty G.pulchripes, lol! Tempetaments can vary between specimens, but i never heard of a G. pulchripes sling being that defensive...He/she is a G. Pulchripes

@cold blood can probably provide some good advice on this species but I don't mist the enclosures for any of mine. When I first got them I left it moist around the water dish and they burrowed on the opposite side. Mine were a little over 1" size.He/she is a G. Pulchripes
