sling grow out of former web?

Heres my versicolor sling that molted about a week ago. A few days after it molted it left its web and has been siting in random places outside the web. Is this because it grew out of its old web? It grew quite a bit. If so will it make a new one?

Nice sling.... and yeah, it'll make a new one, or enlarge the old one, if needed.
