0.0.1 Ornithoctoninae sp. Ho Chi Minh, short a few legs after a challenging molt (and yes, that is a post-molt booty, lol). It's eating and doing spidery things, though, so it'll recover...

The babies are so fun watching grow up and evolve, both physically and psychologically. The best time to observe many tarantulas in my opinion, that and mating.

All in the 0.6-1.9cm range.

Augacephalus junodi

Ceratogyrus darlingi

Harpactira namaquensis

Harpactira pulchripes

Heteroscodra maculata

Poecilotheria metallica before and after molt

Ornithoctoninae sp. "Vietnam Silver"

My pet hole making a special appearance.

1.5 year old juvie around 2 inches.

Just had a molt and started showing that bluish-silvery sheen. Couldn't find it anywhere though.

Pamphobeteus sp. Platyomma sling. Molted 14 days and is currently about 2” diagonal leg span by my estimate.
Since its last molt it has become very defensive and skittish, and will bolt from spot to spot in its enclosure with every disturbance and stick its butt up in the air and kick hair when I‘m doing maintenance.
Also an aggressive hunter, attacking the water dish when I fill or remove it and instantly grabbing prey when I drop it in.

0.0.2 Cyriopagopus sp. Valhalla. These 2 got rehoused from their little tiny sling vials into their big sling vials. They've gone from a little over 1/2" DLS in April to a little over 2" DLS today.

Hoping they'll start to show some color with the next molt, and that I'll be able to sex them.

They're so cute! And surprisingly fluffy. I'd love to see more photos of these little guys as they grow.

Me, too - that why I've been putting them into incrementally larger enclosures, so I'll have a reason to rehouse them sooner than later. 😉
