I use crickets and have not had an issue. They have to eat, if I started being paranoid about every feeding they'd starve to death after a few years ...

She passed. When I cut her open, there was a lot of poop inside. No wriggling parasitic beasts. I think she was blocked up, and that's what caused her demise.

Poor lass.

Those long worms that can infect mantids can be enticed out if you place the mantid in a water source. I'm sure it'd be the same for a T too.

Obviously this wasn't the case here though.
