I’m shipping out about 400 med-lrg Dubia tomorrow I have them in a large USPS Priority Box. I have a couple questions.
Do I need to put small holes in the side?
Do I need to write something like “Live Harmless Feeder Insects” on the box?
The box is taped up tight. They are loose with a few egg flats and some shredded carrots

Definitely I'm not a fan of "writing" :angelic: so that's always a no for me, but if there isn't issues sure, why not.

As far the holes here in Italy we ship/receive those with holes on the side of the parcels, but IMO? B.dubia are hard as hell, if the shipping is a pretty fast one there's no need, while here in Italy is adviced because you never know -- once I received those after more than a week, lol, for a random courier strike :)

The ones I have received are always double boxed or sealed in vented deli cups within the shipping box and no holes they dont need it. In wintertime they do need to be kept from freezing. my shipment last week of red runners came with heat pack and insulation inside a box

They’re staying on the West Coast and the weather is good for the next 3-4 days. I received red runners last week. Loose as always and no heat pack. Very reputable seller. Only time I ordered that he used a heat pack was January and that shipment got delayed. Everything was cold and still alive

I always appreciate it when I receive feeders in the mail, that they are shipped in deli cups or at least a box within the box.
