Oh man I love this - I do have a list I'm working on to pick first species and maybe eventuals because I don't plan on having all that many.

I love the uniformity here, and love the aesthetics.
Are they bioactive or naturalistic? Looks like all real plants..? This is what I'm wanting to do.

Thank you! I'm just really happy I found this shelf at Ikea. It just works so perfect it seems like it was made to hold the nano tall exo terras. Instantly made it look way more uniform

I layer the substrate like you would on a bioactive setup. Leca > substrate barrier > horticultural charcoal > dirt. But I have all plastic plants.

Even though they aren't real plants I still use the leca because I overflow the waterbowls to help maintain humidity, and honestly, sometimes I overdo it. So if I goof I know the water wont be trapped down in the bottom of the substrate forever but just drip down to the bottom.

Lol not really, I went through that phase in the beginning where I was just using what I had and trying to figure out what was best. I'm not really even OCD about being tidy per se. It's just there are several major advantages to being standardized, and those advantages pay major dividends over time, which allows you to have scalability as the collection grows.

If you have scalability and efficiency, that means you can collect more animals while spending less time doing husbandry each week without sacrificing the quality of life for all specimens.

My job might also entail logistics and data analysis as well........

Oh I totally agree. Your setup is very clean. I can definitely appreciate the uniformity and organization. Where did you get that bench/desk thing over on the left hand side?

That's a pretty expensive piece of kit if I'm being honest...... It's a husbandry cart I designed, purchased, and built piece by piece mostly from a restaurant supply company as I couldn't find any cart kit that had everything I wanted or frankly was even close. Think all in it was something like $600, however it allows me to bring the husbandry tools to the enclosure instead of having to move the whole enclosure into the safety tote on the other side of the room that I used prior. That $600 ish is probably one of the best investments for efficiency I've made as the time savings alone have already paid for it.
