Nice pic of the sling, we really need more S. melanotarsum in the US hobby. How big do the females get?

I've been keeping this species for some time now but have had no luck finding a male!Hopefully your successful and perhaps some can make there way over here!

Hi Chris,

Egg sack is now 2 wks old so fingers crossed. This species is not easily found in Europe, I guess it lacks commercial value; being just a small brow/reddish spider. Fortunately I still have a sub-adult male.

If (big if) the egg sack is ok let's see how we can get some into the US. I am not planning on selling any as i expect the sack to be small. But i have no issue in distributing some around fellow Sericopelma enthousiasts.
