I recently ordered 4 slings and only received one. I contacted the seller and they told me i would be refunded the rest that didn't arrive.
Would it be wrong to also ask to be refunded shipping? I wouldn't have ordered only one sling due to shipping costs being expensive.

The right thing to do on their part should be that they would ship the rest to you free of charge since they're the one who messed up the order.

Don't buy again from that seller.

It might be a little late, but here's what I would do if I were you... if you're into slings, take the refund, and not to be rude, but get your self a real T dealer.

Sounds like you got the real run around. I console with you. Stick with it young person. There are better transactions to be made.

I remember this one time my lady wanted to buy me a tarantula, as sweet as her heart is, she ordered from the worst place you could buy a tarantula. I took a deep breath when I saw where she ordered from on the package.

Needless to say after a week the T was dead. Reputable sellers are everywhere and so are crappy sellers. Have you thought about going to a local reptile show? They usually have some T's.

Why did they not arrive? Did they not ship them together? Were they out of those and just sent the one instead without contacting you? I’d ask for the portion of the shipping….like 3/4ths. And never shop there again.

He mentioned that shipping would be rough for the rest of the year so he decided to refund me instead. Definitely won't order again.

Yes, I recently went to a reptile expo but they didn't have the species I wanted.

He just told me they thought the animal was double-listed. Not sure what it means but yeah.

@jokzan Once you feel that there is nothing more that will transpire between you and the seller (regarding this transaction), ONLY then can you post a review for the seller on their seller review item (in our reviews section). If the seller does not have a review item for themselves, then you can request that one be created here:

Did you ask them what that means? Only they can tell you.

I'm sorry, not putting 3 in the box is inexcusable and borderline shady, IMHO. I'm glad that they immediately offered to refund you for the items not in the box (they should have double checked with you BEFORE they shipped out your order). Not sure I would bank on it until the refund is complete though. However, I would still insist that they either immediately rectify the order (on their dime), refund part of the shipping or send you a package paid label to ship the one you did get and then refund the entire order.

Good luck! If you have any questions about the reviews, or how to leave one, hopefully you will find this tutorial helpful:

I’d ask for sure on shipping. I’d call my credit card company

I apologize I forgot about that rule as this is my first time posting. It won't happen again.

He said that explaining what happened would be too long and drawn out so that is the "short version" he told me.

Okay, thank you! I will ask and see what they respond. First time ordering online so wasn't sure on what would be fair.

Yeah, I was planning on doing a chargeback but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to since I'm already receiving a refund.

You technically can - you would need to contact the merchant first to see if a solution could be made for the shipping costs and if they are flexible refunding it in full, or partially. If they refuse, make sure to document this and you can apply for a dispute for the shipping charge with reason as "goods not received".

I've had a similar issue with ordering reptiles in the past (received 1 frog instead of 2) and the seller was great enough to send me the second one without charge with tracking. Definitely seems sketchy as others have mentioned, lucky you received a refund at least.

They haven't responded about the shipping refund yet so I'll give them more time to respond but I don't think they will. So I should charge back even if I'm receiving a refund for the slings I didn't receive?

That's so crappy of a response from a supposed seller with good reviews.

UPDATE: they responded by saying that since they can't recover shipping fees for orders that were already shipped, I won't be able to receive a refund for shipping :/

Here's the thing bothering me about this situation....you live in TX....because of this, the seller shouldn't have any issues with sending out the ts that were left out of the original shipment.

I get that shipping won't be returned as those costs have been spent, but this seller should make good on the remaining slings that THEY left out....even if it means waiting for better ship temps....but like I said, shipping to a warmer state like Texas in winter shouldn't be an issue.

the seller should make good on it. Perhaps they didn't have what you ordered. I also agree at least a partial refund on shipping.
This is the pitfalls of winter orders. Most reputable sellers have a ":no ship" season once it gets cold

Yeah he didn't even let me decide if I wanted a refund or if I would prefer to wait for them, just told me he would be refunding them.

What I ordered is still in stock as I just checked their website. They already told me I wouldn't be receiving a refund but are happy to apply the freebie credit for the 1 sling i did get for my next order with them lol.
