I have a 2 inch P.fasciata sling since a couple of weeks and absolutely love it. Yes, it's fast, but it's also a little coward who prefers to run and hide.

Get one Xsyorra, you won't regret it, just prepare to want more {D

If you get a regalis .5 inch get ready because they are FAST! One of my slings ran a couple laps within its new enclosure during a transfer. The little guy did about 3 full laps in less than one second inside a five inch-wide enclosure before I even knew what was going on. They are not as bad as they say they are unless you try and handle them or don't take the necessary precautions during transfers, feedings, or cleanings. They seam less likely to teleport as they get older.

My friend has a P.regalis, a P.ornata, and a P.metalica and all of them run to their hides when their cages are opened. The only time they attack is if you disturb their hides.

This doesn't always apply though. My regalis sometimes just stays there when I open the cage and then she will basicly attack everything near her.

LMAO love my regalis. I have a 4" sub male and a 5" female. They are NOT the fierce creatures you may have heard of. I just moved my gal into a larger enclosure and she just strolled into her new home no fuss no muss.

Pokies are however high strung. Whenever they feel the vibrations of me walking on the wood floors, they spaz out until the earthquake stops. Males are higher strungout than females. I can tong feed my gal but not the male.

Your more apt to see teleportation when they are slings, they really motor, to the point of being lil Houdini's when young.

They will not attack, but rather cower when you open their enclosures, all my Pokies do this.

GL, get a couple and enjoy their beauty, and Regalis are sweet looking, wait til they break the 4" mark and start displaying their adult colors...mmmmm

PIG-
Is this your female?

My regalis is pretty calm. If she's out and about and I open the enclosure, she'll go back to her hide quite calmly. She doesn't run back...just walks at a purposefull pace. I'm sure if I blocked her route she'd get pretty defensive, but I don't fancy testing that out!
