seed starter soil

anyone here use this as a substrate?the organic kind im refering to.

I use Hoffman brand of seed starter and then mix in additional vermiculite until I am satisfied.

thanks for reply.did a search for the brand and only could find 10 qt bags.its all organic right?

yes, it is, i use that or peat moss, and never had any problems. however, soil molds more easily than peat moss. you can add about 1/3 of sand to make it more stable for burrows and less likely to mold.

seed starter is peat moss mixed with vermiculite. I just like to add additional vermic to the mix when I use it as some brands never add enough to my liking. lol
