I agree! Absolutely love the diversity in phenotypic expression within Centruroides gracilis. As adults they have more than the currently described 4 phenotypes. One of my current projects is nearing completion, and describing each of the phenotypes is one part of that project.

They sometimes just roll like this. But if it appears to be permanent and stuck like this it could be a tail injury that caused some form of paralysis.
