If there is any stuff laying around on the ground especially wood or rocks I turn over everything I can and sometimes I find scorpions. I would think in Florida with it's climate and humidity you could find them (scorpions) anywhere there is stuff lying around.

and some one asked where i live , so i live in israel

and this is corrently our summer vacation and i am praying my parent would organize a day or two of a trip to the negev desert all of the coolest scorpions i know are

practicly the only species i am really sad because we dont have them here
are the parabuthus family i have to get me some of those

It turns out my friend has a HUGE scorpion prob in his backyard.........so bad that his littlebro isn't allowed in the backyard so hopefully I'll be able to go their.

Since you live in Israel, I must tell you, that 40KM south of Beersheba, you will find numerous specimens of Androctonus bicolor.

l.quenquestriatus
h.judaicus
s.maurus

these are found in houses
