Hey everyone!
I am thinking about getting a scorpion one day (say Heterometrus) and it seems that people say that heat mats aren't the best at heating the whole cage very well; only the side hotspot or so. My room I would keep it in averages around 23-27'c depending on the weather so it's pretty warm and in the summer it will definitely be at least 25'c+ during the day time temps. Do you guys think that I could get away with just a heat mat on a thermostat? If I did need or decide to use a heat lamp would that need to be on a thermostat as well; As a dimmer thermostat is pretty expensive to me.
Thanks for the replies!
Jimmy.
