Since I got asked in a PM if I am finding any scorpions here in Peru I thought I would post this pic. I believe it is Hadruroides lunatus however I am not a taxonomist so my skills at IDing species is poor at best.
Found North of Lima just off a beach where people dump trash. It seems like there are more stuff to find around trash than anywhere else down here. Of course I am not in the rainforest where I am sure it is different there.

peru scorps

the that one isnt h lunatus but it is one of H the sp. I have this one which is similar to yours. it is one of the larger H species heres a photo of mine http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/gallery/showimage.php?i=9626&catid=member&imageuser=17368 I prefer the brachiosternus genus as they are much rarer and agressive the Hadruroides are way to docile for me, heres a video of a brachiosternus peruvianus taking down a Hadruroides sp, these scorpions are actually desinged to kill other scorpion possesing a long stinger tip to rip apart the preys insides heres the vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5of1w-Wwgs
