I have noticed that almost all scorps I have seen either have a fat tail and thin claws, or large claws and a thin tail. While I am aware of the hunting reasons for this, I was wondering if there are any scorpions with both fat tails and claws. Or even the reverse (though, IMO, that is less desirable). Also, which scorps are the most extreme with this? (Fattest tail/thinnest claws / Thinnest tail/fattest claws). It seems that unlike T's, scorps vary much more in body shape than color.

I haven't seen any with both fat or both thin, but for extreme fat / thin combos, I'd have to say the genera Hadogenes and Androctonus just about take the cake. (First is fat claws, thin tail, second is vice-versa.)

There's one other genus of fat, tiny scorpions with fat, tiny tails and skinny, tiny pinchers. So cute! Can't remember what they're called, though.

Yeah they are cool, small but their tail is almost as big as the body.

I've also seen a scorpion with a cool looking telson, not bulbish like the normal.

Isn't there one where the telson has two bulges? Like, big bulge for the vesicle, a little "pinch," and then a secondary bulge just before the aculeus?

My favorite species. Leirus q. They're very thin all around. I've had obese adults that look disgusting because they're so think. Flat chela and very thin tails. But also VERY poisonus ;) but you knew that already.
