I was wondering if there is a book available that has all the scorpions known in it, I know about alot but want to know about all of them to help me out n future scorp hunts and just in general with being able to ID one and know what there care consists of

I've been reading "The biology of Scorpions" by Gary Polis, it doesn't contain specific species keys (family and genus mostly), but it has a lot of awesome information. Better hope a library around you has a copy though, thats how I got mine.

Besides that, look for books/guides specifically about the area/family you are going to be looking at.

i was wandering the same thing, like an ultimate scorpion field guide, but theres not much out there.

manny rubios book doesnt have them all but it is considered the best book out there with pictures.

edit: color pictures and in english english

Hey! When we get information that all of our "intelligence agencies" say is a load of junk, we know we have something! I'm pretty sure those guys making pottery on that dirt floor of that 2000 square foot "factory" for $3 a day were making nukes in their spare time. Yep, open and shut if you ask me. :rolleyes:

I know, we are the reason there are "banana republics". It's our banana companies. :wall:

Good news for the rest of the world though, is that empires always end...

Now back to scorpions! ;)
