I just got these 4 containers from a co-worker. My wife just might lose it when she sees me walk in the house with these....

Those are the best - especially the ones with screw on lids instead of snap on lids. :D

Congrats. Although i dont really care for those. The larger the T gets, the harder its going to be to get it out of there for a rehouse, unless you have a Avic in there.

Take two of those and invert one.
The substrate can be on the "bottom" with a water dish and a small amount of cork bark.
The "upper" can have the main housing cork bark.
If stability is a problem, simply use a heavy object to mate up to base of the "lower".

Below is a photo of a test run, trying out the basics.
More decor can be added in the future.
This was just a Walmart prototype.
The maintenance is simple and the substrate can be changed by switching a "back-up lower container".
Ideas are endless.
The last photos are of another Walmart prototype too.

Cool. I like to see the different, customized and improvised enclosures. I love the professionally made acrylic tanks, and I have a couple of them. But they start to get
costly. I'm thinking of using the big one for an arboreal, maybe avic or P. irmina.

I never get any updates if a user has replied to my thread, but I just stopped back in (any suggestions).

Your answer is:
It is a $15 Walmart beverage dispenser.
I'd bet I can get a nice organic cork sheet that goes on a post-up-note board and fix it into the bottom of the "upper".
Small pieces of the sheet would give a nice organic look to a fraction of the "fakey" parts.
