Hello all!

I was told that this species ("likely mortisans complex") is one of the better beginner centipedes. However, I can't find much care information online about this species anywhere.

I would be grateful to learn where to start (substrate, substrate depth, enclosure, heating, general care etc.,).

Thank you!

Housing will depend on the size of the pede. Make sure to find an enclosure that has a secure lid, as centipedes are notorious escape artists.

A room temp of 70 degrees will work, 3"+ of topsoil and sand mixture as the substrate, cork bark flat as a hide, and a water dish that you will overflow every so often.
