I've found a few articles describing the cuties, but does anyone know of a in-depth article to the kinematics/bio-mechanics of their swimming? muscular/form/ect?

I vastly appreciate your time and feedback

Well, in this video the swimming mechanism is snake-like. Never saw any scientific articles with kinematics depiction.

Second video

I believe that any centipede possess the ability to move like this. I’ve seen it personally for 2 species.

Have to agree with this. Plus, I dont think the specimen in the second video is S. cataracta. Note the much shorter terminal legs in comparison to the photos of the known specimens.

Thanks,
